The Project
The Land - Part One
In total, we now own 2 hectares of land in Rwanda and that equals about 5 acres. For a visual representation one acre is about the size of a football field without the end zones so basically we own almost 5 football fields worth of land!!! Land One will be used for agriculture training and farming.
The Land - Part Two
Land two will be used for building the training center that will hold classrooms, dining areas, community buildings, clean water access, and more.
The Training
The Community
As we prepare to provide longterm training and investment in this community, we are already working with the community leaders and members. For example, both last year and this year, we provided the costs for a health insurance program for 100 community members. We are also currently running a sewing program for women in the community who were not able to finish school for various reasons.
